Due to the high shooting requirements, it is necessary to create a 270° circular shooting screen for sci-fi blockbusters, and the screen needs to meet: 4K/120fps real-time rendering, automatic matching of the camera’s optical parameters, and 98% color gamut coverage.

In order to fulfill these requirements, CICOM Bison has put in a great deal of effort to achieve the results.

• Firstly, customized P1.2 micro-pitch screen, equipped with self-developed “frame synchronization” processor.
• Secondly, developed a virtual production system with light matching delay <3ms.
• Finally, it also passed the American Society of Cinematographers color certification.
